Brothers,

We address you with sadness in reporting that the Trustees and District Deputy have accepted the resignation of our Grand Knight, Michael Daher, for personal reasons. GK Daher has been a great asset to our council from the time he joined the Council including his service as Chancellor and Deputy Grand Knight. During Mike’s time as GK, he initiated a program focused on Charity. In that aim, he created a PGK Council to study the best use of existing Council funds. He also was instrumental in the success of the Keep Christ in Christmas Program. He also continued the Councils work of assisting Brothers and Widows in need.

Brother Daher will be remaining an active member of the council. Please keep PGK Michael Daher and his family in your prayers.

As a result of this action, our District Deputy, Frank Humpherys, has appointed Brother John Eiler as the interim Grand Knight for Council 9349 through June 30, 2010. John is our immediate Past Grand Knight and will be able to seamlessly pickup the Council tasks and ensure continuity in Council operations. New GK Eiler has appointed Brother Ralph Schmitt as interim Three Year Trustee through June 30, 2010. Brother Ralph’s experience as a PGK and long time council member will allow him to effectively fill the Trustee position.
